My Journey Journal’s Another “Best Day Ever” Moment At Five Star Hotels In Mumbai!

We often tend to forget the good old days in the sophistication of living and earning for tomorrow. What would be have left if everything is earned and you’re sitting in the backyard of a brand new house looking over the garden designed by some famous landscape artist if there are no memories of those good old days to ponder upon?

I don’t want that emptiness and guilt…. Never would I trade it for my happiness. I fell in love with nature 10 years back while trekking alone among the lofty valleys of the Himalayas. While the feeling has never disappointed me, in the long run, life and work came in the way. But that never let me from taking the small but cherished adventures I plan for myself then and there.

Indore has this sheer royalty and architectural enigma in all its boundaries. I’ve hunted half of the places it owns in my solitary expenditures so far. India’s financial capital with all its posh charm and technological glamour was the next haven in my list (not for the first time though) with its factual beauty hidden along the coastlines and horizons.

Make Mumbai Your Second Home At The Five Star Hotels

With “conditions apply” instructions from my wife and a whole roll of shopping list stuck in my pocket, I checked in the Business class in the Jet Airways’ bird few weeks back. The journey among excellent service and first- class treatment never sufficed the hype of my plans for the most awaited weekend.

Mumbai had its usual effect of mind blowing awesomeness assault on me when I claimed the baggage. The coast ride was mediocre until I checked in one of the 5 star hotels in Mumbai. They can be different for all their peculiarities but this wing of excellent hotels has always been a magnet in attracting people across the world. After a few repeated stays in some of the residencies, I’ve always felt a little like home in this city. Vacation being my motive, I choose the one with the genuine of amenities.

The Sanjay Gandhi National Park was in my hit- list that day. It had the Dream City making it an island on three sides. The Bengal tigers took their lazy afternoon walks in the secured area of the park while lions drooled over destroyed benches during the safari had my camera album memory exploding.

Cycle rides among the dense forests are the best to go uphill to watch the skyline of the city towering the backdrop of the jungle below with its wild lit trail roads and treks. The Kanheri Caves and the Buddhist pride they exhibit through each pillar and grotto caught me off- guard. That along with the seven other Buddhists Viharas, made my ears fertile for the tour guide’s memorized introductions.

Boating and cycling are other modes to enjoy the rugged magnificence of the greenery while a toy- train run by the narrow gauge railway is sure to make many family trips satisfying. When the day turned in, my exhaustion overtook the beauty of the park’s river reflecting the trees and its rare birds as the glistening twilight drew the curtains for the setting sun. And that’s how another of my voyage came to an end with the beginning of an inspiring journey to some other destination very soon.
